Where I come from, a white lie is a pure lie that has not an iota of truth in it. Some lies, you see, may have a grain of truth in them. In a white there is none. White snakes, of the human variety, are greedy, sneaky and deadly!

In Ethiopian clture and tradation, White clothes use to Cover DEAD Bodies!!

I hope it is not still the dark age in the place where you come from, else no reason to be averse to white symbolism
