Kassa Hailu as his name suggests is Amhara. He started it out as a rebelleous bandit and garnered support from the western gondar areas where kmants live in large number. By the way "kmant" is a religion & way of life rather than ethnicity. The christians are called amharas and the old judaic+traditional believers are given a name called "kmant". Now agames claimed Wube which we all know he is not and Gallas and Agames are in a collision course claiming Taity as either Tigre or Oromo which is insane in my view.
Gallas also claim Menilik as half Oromo while at the same time cursing him as Nefxtegna.
All in all the tactic of the enemy is to say that Amharas have no national hero. By introducing such narrative, they aim to make amharas submissive.
