So what?

If this is the case, then probably it is one of the best thing that could happen to the Oromia region.

I don't know much about the current regional president (obbo Shimales Abdissa), he is a hard-working guy, he put the whole of his energy into transforming the region economically. He worked day and night for that, that is adimerable!

At the same time his administration failed utterly in securing peace and stability in the region, whether he is personally responsible for this or some others in his inner-circle could be open to discussion. He is ultimately the one at the helm of regional power, he has to bear the responsibility.

Engineer Takele Uma has proven himself as one of the great hard-working, politically more mature, and with a firm stand against the ragtag militia in the name of Shane, he reportedly favored the use of military force to eliminate the nausea of the entity in the region and the whole of the country during one of the recently reported meeting at the office of the PM. I heard him speaking for law and order in the country, ever since he was the Acting Mayor of the capital.

He succeeded in transforming the ministry of mine and energy, generating second to coffee foreign currency from the sector for the country.

Because he is a hard-working guy he is also hated the most by those who don't want to see any Oromo succeed in doing good for the country, EZEMA is a living memory in this regard, on top of the baldi-ras entity. Bunch of losers!

I love to see Takele Uma becoming the regional president of Oromia very soon!

Gold exports dropped 59% to 3-year low

During his appearance before the Parliament last month, the Governor of the central bank, Yinager Dessie (PhD), admitted that contraband is once again presenting a danger to the mining industry. Takele shared similar concerns during his latest press briefing last week at the premise of the Mining Ministry.

“A large volume of gold extracted from Ethiopia is being smuggled,” said Takele, affirming efforts are being exerted to discourage contraband. “We are forming a taskforce to take corrective measures.”

Reports state that artisanal miners conducted transactions totaling six billion birr over the course of the last six months. The miners claim that they are using the cash to purchase gold, which they then sell to the central bank.
