Welqait-Tegede is historically Amhara land. Agames stole it, killed & evicted its inhabitants, and settled their own.

Ever since Amharas repossessed welqait-tegede two years ago, agames have tried to steal it back thru force without success. They are now hoping that what they failed to achieve thru violence, they may gain it thru Abiyot Ahmed Ali. We'll see.
