Arrival of ambassadors & other diplomats from "more than 32 countries." The arrivals include, Justice Minister Dr Gedion Thimotios, the British Ambassador to Ethiopia, diplomats from the AU & European countries.

Mekelle is becoming a second power base in Ethiopia. It seems that Ethiopia has two capitals now. It reminds me the period of 1991 to 1993 when Ethiopia had two capitals - Addis and Asmara.

Aren't all/any foreign govt level visits to Mekelle(& Tigray region) first reviewed and preapproved by the central Ethiopian government of Addis Abeba first?? 
Isn't there only 1 central government of Ethiopia led by Abiy/President Sahleworq??...as the terrorist TPLF attested to in their signed surrender & peace agreement in Pretoria just 2 months ago??
This seems more of a PR and face saving maneuver for the TPLF leaders before they exit their regional government & complete their surrender.
If you ask me the central Ethiopian govt is always too patient and generous with TPLF. However whenever TPLF mistakes that generosity for weakness and launches attacks, the Ethiopian people/government have managed to squelch/crush any such TPLF attacks on several occasions.
Its Thursday deadline, has the TPLF turned over its weapons & entered into the disarmament and reeducation centers/camps??...or is it making excuses & violating the surrender/peace agreement?? Again if you ask me the central Ethiopian govt is too generous, many suspected terrorist TPLF are fleeing Tigray and soon even using Ethiopian airlines 
...let alone to enter the surrender reeducation centers/camps. I know from personal info some footsoldiers have already fled to other African countries through other routes(Kenya,Uganda,Djibouti,Sudan)...not thru Eritrea though since they would be throughly investigated & caught. Ethiopian security needs to be on the lookout, many TPLF mid/low level leaders & footsoldiers with war crimes are fleeing unabated.
