Feltman was removed from his position as a U.S. Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa after the TPLF terrorists under his command failed to reach Addis Ababa, where majority of them had perished. I understand your conclusions. But, that could also be the reason why Mr. Feltman is openly publishing such kinds of statements against Mr. Abi. If the deal was already sealed, I am sure he wouldn't have uttered a word about it.

The loss of willing slave woyane has not been taken easily by the Americans. The Americans have a firm hold on Mr. Abi. in different areas. Beside the loans that woyane accumulated through the years, he is also afraid not to lose American financial handouts. Because, he is reminded by the like of Mr. Feltman that will lead to mass public protest in Addis when prices get higher and wages start to dwindle.

As far as the Eritrean government reaction is concerned. For us the people to speculate about security issue doesn't serve anyone because we often don't have the necessary information at hand. But, the main mission of our government should and is to uphold the security of our borders. What has been done in Tigray was done in good faith and for good purposes. To get rid of the regions malignant cancer would have been better for all but if the main host is not willing to do what it take to get rid of its own problems. Then why bother is the question that comes to mind.

At the moment, knowing TPLF is well castrated and will accept what ever is thrown to it is enough to have a good night sleep as far as I am concerned.

Come on. The fake peace deal is there now and they will try to force Essays and Amara to accept it which will lead to a war. Accepting the deal means leaving from all territories of Welkiet, Rays and Badime. Period

No one can force Eritrea out of badme. There is no such thing in the agreement. Contrary to that, the federal government accepted the internationally recognised boundaries and signed a peace agreement in 2018.
