He is on PP payroll ( contract ) to comment on positive aspect of the Abiy government.
His payments comes out of public fund ( poorly paid tax payers back home ). Why is he the payee of the Ethiopian embassy?? Wells fargo bank California.

My guess is that he is one stubborn guy who made a mistake in believing in Abiy at the beginning and too embarrassed to admit it. He was also chosen to oversee the diaspora development fund which was a big failure. So, he probably considers all these as personal failures and remains to be quite for fear of others opinions.

He is not afraid nor quiet in adulating Abiy Ahmed.
