PM Abiy Holds Talks with US National Security Advisor
December 13, 2022
ADDIS ABABA – Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on Tuesday held talks with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan in Washington.
Prime Minister Abiy is currently in Washington for the 2022 US-Africa leaders summit – a three-day summit hosted by President Joe Biden to discuss how the US and African nations are strengthening our partnerships to advance shared priorities.
Ahead of the summit today, the PM Office said Abiy held a “constructive discussion” with the US National security advisor on various issues, describing it as constructive.
The issues raised include the implementation of cessation of hostilities, political and economic reform initiatives of the government of Ethiopia
They also spoke about revitalizing the bilateral relationship between Ethiopia and the United States.
“Our constructive discussions have also focused on strengthening the historical bilateral relations between our two nations,” the PM said in a tweet.

Listen Ugumat. We may not agree with some of the steps Ethiopia has been taking. But, we recognize, as a sovereign country, it can go in whatever political direction it chooses. We would offer our opinion only and only if requested by Ethiopia in good faith. So there is no animosity or bad feeling based on this silly call by the US administration in a futile attempt to catch up with what other countries have been doing.

Abiy Ahmed will sacrifice Isaias Afwerki to save himself and his government, there will be a regime change in Eritrea, very soon, Kenya has deployed troops in the East of the Democratic Republic of Congo on behalf of USA, Ethiopia will do the same in Asmara.

News: Abiy, Blinken discuss urgent need for withdrawal of Eritrean forces, US wants access by international human rights monitors
December 14, 2022
Addis Abeba – In the first ever in-person meeting held between Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the two “discussed the urgent need for all Eritrean forces to leave Ethiopia,” as the US urged “access to the conflict areas by international human rights monitors,” the State Department said.
The discussion on Tuesday took place in Washington D.C. on the sides of the ongoing US-Africa Leaders Summit.
