Daniel Bekele is the same dude who echoed Martin Plaut's fabricated atrocities in Axum. He used to work in Nairobi for many years as Human Rights watch's East Africa head. And We're all familiar with HRW's track record in Ethiopia/Eritrea.

His earlier report on wellega was bias and full of both-sidism even though reports from the area painted a different picture. Even the usually indifferent foreign press widely reported the carnage perpetrated against innocent Amhara civilians by OLF shene. Incidentally Daniel Bekele is a good acquaintance of Ethiopia's Supreme court Judge, Meaza Ashenafi. Both were handpicked for their respective position by the 7th King.
