- TDF returned from Debrebirhan after TPLF got a confirmation from Abiy through the USA , he is willing to resolve the conflict in a peaceful manner and as per the Ethiopian Constitution, and as a gesture Aboy Sibhat Nega and other top TPLF leaders were released .
- The agreement was being secretly discussed between Abiy government & Tigray for months ( after the return of TDF from Debre Birhan).
- Abiy has been waiting for the right time with some face saving advance to Tigray though under pressure by Isaias to finish TPLF ( Isaias is still putting pressure on Abiy to desmantle TPLF)
- The USA & EU has decided for a hybrid of PP and TPLF government to stabilize Ethiopia and the Horn Africa ( practically an alliance between Tigray & Oromia). However, Isaias shall be removed from power soon. The crack down to desmantle any organized resistance in Amhara will also contuinue.
- Isaias knows very well Abiy used him to consolidate his power & betrayed him by bowing to the pressure of the USA and is working to replace Abiy using his network in Amhara and also to desmantle TPLF. That sets the ground for both Abiy and TPLF to work together to topple Isaias( military invasion of Eritrea is expected and Isaias to be removed from power , Eritrea unstable and under the control of TPLF/PP for some time until a new government is established from the Eritrean diaspora)
