Guys if you read this old article above the quotes it strengthens my view that Abiy Ahmed unfortunately doesn't want to abolish ethnic federalism. If this is true then it's a mistake since the unity of the country and the cohesion of her citizens are both threatened by this constitutional institutionalisation of tribalism.

Now with the peace agreement between the Ethiopian government and the TPLF it wouldn't surprise me if TPLF and Prosperity Party overtly or covertly makes a political pact whereby PP wins all Tigray seats in both houses of the federal Parliament and TPLF wins most/all seats for the Tigray regional legislature.

We could be witnessing TPLF unofficially becoming an affiliate of PP in the same way the ruling parties of Afar and Somali regions was affiliates (but not members) of the defunct EPRDF

Sounds like mere speculation and wishful thinking, as opposed to being a belief based on any actual facts
