I haven't watched it in its entirety, but it's interesting.
The fact that those Somali-Kenyans shy away from mentioning is that prior to Somalis from Somalia arriving in Kenya in large numbers and running successful business empires in retail, manufacturing, transport & logistics, among others, they (Somali-Kenyans) were treated as a second class citizens and were neither Kenyan nor Somali. In addition, an extremely small number of them had business activities, and this was limited to selling Somali women dresses.
Somalis from Somalia are even involved in the aviation, owning airlines and charter companies.
What a coincidence, tomorrow I'll be flying to Nairobi.
