I like what's happening in northern Somalia and the Somali Region.

I don't know anyone in southern Somalia. I have more relatives in Uganda than southern Somalia. Strange but true.

I have only one cousin married to southerner in Mogadishu.

Uganda 3 generations in Jinja (town). We came with the English as translators. Somalis were always bilingual or multi.




The plan with Mekelle
- we need Somali students to expand
- build them accommodation, Mosques
And eventually businesses.

They can study at local universities, but I don't believe everyone should be in their backyard. We need to send Somali youth in every direction to go and build networks and lay the foundations. The people of Enderta are warm and welcoming.

Our msg is we here, we trust you with our kids, we share more than we differ. This is the point.

Before the war 100s of Somali kids were studying in Mekelle. When the war broke out, Tigray transported them to Afar.


Tegaru are good people. Too much attention is given to the actions of few TPLF warlords.

You go out of your way to insult us Oromo's, Amara's and others... but you give the benefit of the doubt, and not generalize Tigrayans, which is nice and fair; but you don't do the same for Amara's, Oromo's & others... I wonder why? Interesting indeed!
