Well, according to the constitution the federal military should not come into any region unless invited by the regional government for emergency situations..otherwise the regional forces are responsib for the safety and security of the region. If fano or Amhara forces is asked to vacate Wolkait then it implies the land doesn't belong to Amharas.

Where is that clause? That's interesting, if true, then you have a good point, I admit that.
But, the question is: what if tplf invades that area, and the abiy regime doesn't send in the endf?
would fano, amhara liyu, and the amhara masses in general feel betrayed?
I am asking because, if the endf would obviously have to get involved.
and I do not trust tplf to uphold this treaty or surrender or whatever you wish to call it.

Nobody is betraying nobody on this issue. አያይዘውም የማንነት ጥያቄ በማንሳታቸው ሞትን ጨምሮ ሌሎች በደሎች በራያ ሕዝብ ላይ ሲፈፀም የቆየ እንደነበረና በመቶ ሺህዎች የሚቆጠሩ ራያዎች ከቤት ንብረታቸው ሲፈናቀሉ እና ንብረታቸውም ሲወድም እንደነበረ ተወካዮቹ በአካል ቀርበው ያስረዱ ሲሆን ጥያቄአችን ምላሽ ሊሰጠው ይገባል በማለት አቤቱታቸውን አቅርበዋል፡፡

የሕዝቦችን ጥያቄ ሕግን መሠረት በማድረግ ምላሽ በመስጠት ሕብረብሔራዊ አንድነታችንን ማጠናከር እንደሚያስፈልግ ጨምረው ገልጸዋል፡፡

What is the use of having a piece of land to which is attached permanent violence. You go and grab it using violence and they will come to take back using violence. Thus it continuous endlessly until the second coming of Christ.

Of course lots of emotions and attachments are involved but yet it is better to find lasting, balance and peaceful resolution to the issue so that every single mouthful of food may become tasty and pleasurable when the eating takes place under peaceful fully relaxed conditions and worry less individual and communal life. Why not agree to arrange referendum and let the people of that area (zone?) make their decisions democratically under peaceful free and fair condition? Right now it seems that only few mutually antagonistic noisy elites are tearing the people apart and causing pains.
