What sanction? 
- Eritrea has zero trade relations with US or EU
- None of Eritrean plans fly to the US
- No Eritrean authority has bank accounts in the US
The US has tried every sanction you name on the planet on Eritrea for 24 years and nothing worked.
In short, the US has zero leverage on Eritrea just as Eritrea has zero leverage on US.
Eritrean trade and commercial partners are the far eastern countries, Greater China and the middle eastern countries. None of these countries abide by the US unilateral sanction against Eritrea.
- Eritrea has zero trade relations with US or EU
- None of Eritrean plans fly to the US
- No Eritrean authority has bank accounts in the US
The US has tried every sanction you name on the planet on Eritrea for 24 years and nothing worked.
In short, the US has zero leverage on Eritrea just as Eritrea has zero leverage on US.

One way or the other the US pressure on Ethiopia will continue to bring back the TPLF with some kind of acceptable form.
-saving the TPLF has been achieved.
-the next stage by the US will be helping the TPLF to re-group. TPLF will have the corridors it needs. Not only Abiye Ahmed signed to do so, but also the Weyannies will use Ethiopian resources to do so.
The Americans have already discovered Abiye is an easy pick. All they have to do is use the sanctions leverage. Imagine what will happen if they threaten to use the military leverage.
Abiye Ahmed still didn’t understand he made a huge political mistake. He will find out soon.

The sanctions will target ethiopia not tigray and are not directly for eritrea because westerners know ethiopians are very reliant on western acceptance
