Make no mistake, not many heads of state in Africa, if any, have achieved a fraction of what President Isaias has achieved for his country taking the meagre source of funds available for Eritrea into account.

In addition, he's not the only dictator in Africa, as Africa is home to many of the world's longest-ruling heads of state and outright dictators. Neither has he even been listed among the worst dictators in Africa. He's a responsible dictator.

Of course, the West made him their villain and will never call him a visionary like Paul Kagame, even though they know perfectly well that Kagame has committed serious genocide, deliberately and brutally slaughtering over 450, 000 Hutus in revenge in Rwanda and in the sprawling refugee camps of neighbouring Congo - but we all know the west is the mother of hypocrisy, and hypocrisy is the mother of all evil.

Afewerki did well for his people so and I think his people like him to lead so not sure why others would think he should go.
