United Democracy Project, a super PAC affiliated with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, wanted to prevent Omar winning her primary. But its efforts failed and Democrat Ilhan Omar wins reelection to U.S. House in Minnesota's 5th Congressional District.

I dislike the group of people she associates with on a religious basis.
And I recognise that in order to be a politician in western nations, you must appease them by addressing their societal faults, but I just support Ilhan Omar because she successfully fought off AIPAC and its devious objective.
I simply support Ilhan omar because we share the same ethnicity and national identity. Congratulations Ilhan Omar.

If you're talking about the LGBT group, then you should know that this group is also part of its electoral district, like anywhere, whether she likes them or not, and that these days no politician in the western countries can dare to be against them if they want to continue to be in the politics.
Supporting someone does not necessarily mean associating with them. She does not associate herself with them, but simply supports them like any member in her district.
But I absolutely disagree with her that she indulges in such a support for LGBT groups and extends her support to any LGBT group around the world, including those in Muslim majority countries, such as in Palestine, where she has supported the Palestinian LGBTQ organisation barred from organising events in the West Bank albeit they're not part of her district, because she's seriously jeopardizing her faith voluntarily in tweeting in support of the Palestinian LGBT group, as she has no obligation whatsoever in doing so, neither is her job compelling her to act as such.
