Imagine a criminal clique that enjoyed uncontested monopoly over the economy, military and political life of the 2nd-most populous nation in Africa, yet it heavily relies on the muscles of its white masters to ward off its self-made enemies.
Many people wonder why the West propped up the Tigray terrorist regime with military and economic assistance for 27 years despite the grim reality of its notorious human rights record.
The answer is, ethnic minority regimes need an outside support to lord over the majority, which they must earn by putting themselves at the service of their outside protectors, hence they become mercenary regimes doing their master's bidding.
