Had the Museum of Science and Art was a gift from our Western partners, it wouldn't have been the center of controversy, because given how deeply Western food-aid has altered our collective consciousness during the last 27 years, it will take more than the signing of peace agreements to compel the aid addicts realize that beggars can't be choosers.

What controversy are you talking about? China is asking for open acknowledgement of its "gift". That shouldn't feel controversial to him or you.
