Winners and losers after the peace treaty

Post by Educator » 02 Nov 2022, 14:11

Winners in the order from high to low:
1- Woyanes: they only have to give up nonexistent weapons as in disarmament. There will be no verifiable way to make sure they disarm. They don't have airforce, drones or missiles to give up. They will for sure get to keep light weapons for law and order in their province, so they will still maintain their security apparatus in Tigray and Wolkait and Raya.

2- Shabia: it avenged its past grievances against TPLF and tigray people. It robbed as much as it can from both Tigrians and Ethiopian government. Now it knows it has no capable enemy south of its borders and will prolong the longevity of its rule over Eritreans.

2- PP and Mamo Killo: they just got some more years of life line even though it will be under the scrutiny of their former bosses, woyanes. This time they will be scrutinized in parliament and in the media by Woyanes. The Woyanes can't be touched by PP like other ethiopians, the likes of Eskindir Nega, Meaza Mohamed, Tadios Tanto, Temesgen and many other peaceful activists and opposition memebers.

Losers in the order from highest:
1- Amharas: they have sacrificed their men and children for nothing. They had their wealth destroyed, their women raped, their cattle and farm abolished. More over, they will surrender Wolkait and Raya as to restoring the constitutional rule. They will also be chased by PP as outlaws for refusing to disarm. Fano will be hunted like elephants till they become dinosaurs.

2- Tigrians: you lost you children, properties and livelihoods, and your women raped for nothing in return. But at least your misery in the hands of Eritreans or ENDF is over for now. You will also get some compensation from the west in the form of aid and reconstruction fund. But you still remain under the rule of Woyanes for the foreseeable future. You will have no hope or help from anywhere. But at least you will be better than Amharas who will be hunted by OLF PP and the hodam Amharas.

3- Ethiopian people: the economic impact of the war will keep you in misery for a long time to come. The Mamo Killo's desire to rule for another 40 years will come with a stick that will bruise you daily. And the constitution you hate the most will deprive you peace and security within your own country and homes. Hope shene will show you some mercy.

4- wutaf nekais and activist: now you have no more cause or porpose to live. No more profiteering from war and hatred. What will Dereje Habtewold come up with to supplement his income? God be with you merchents of death.

Very good assessment!! The losers will be losers again and again and again. The only thing that I am hopping for is for TPLF to refuse to abide by the agreements.

keep dreaming

you lost welkait in november 2020

and now lose Raya in november 2022

Abiy was not treating Raya fairly last year but due to your weyane invasion of woldia expect maychew to fall this month "as you have done to others it shall be done to you"

if Abiy does any mistake the war will definitely be prolonged no if's or buts and be expanded thus it is suicidal for Abiy to give MLLT any grounds near Sudan

I would never call anyone names, but if I did the name moron will fit you? Because your are still thinking the war will continue till Mekelle is taken. Man, they agreed to a cessation of hostility and the restoration of the constitutional rule. You know which constitution they are talking about? The Woyane constitution that gives away Wolkait and Raya to Woyane.

Funny indeed!

I wouldn’t call a “win” for Weyane in ANY measurement.
1. You can’t bring back the million plus lost soul of the ill train rag tag from their death
2. You have now over 200k disable “fighters” somehow Kilil Chigray needs to take care of them (it ain’t Ethiopia’s business to rehabilitate or treat disabled terrorists)
3. Chigray lost Bademe, Irob, Humera, Welqait and Raya PERMANENTLY!
4. The distraction the Chigar Kilil received won’t be undone in the next 5 centuries.
5. Chigray has successfully pissed off all her neighbors and her people will for ever be unwelcome everywhere they go.
6. Chigray will not dare ever again to provoke Eritrea or Amara because it will be violent the agreement since it has to use a heavy armament that hided from the agreement; hence it won’t look good in the eyes of its masters and Eritrea or Amara will be on the right to respond deadly and crash it.

According to the agreement the border will be under the control of the government but that doesn't mean MLLT will be fully prevented from organizing its activities from within Walkait and in neighbouring Sudan.

It was ተራራዉን ያንቀጠቀጠዉ ትዉልድ before the conflict or the current "agreement" (some pseudo scholars call it is not an agreement) was signed and now it must have been elevated to the title of ሰማዩን ያንቀጠቀጠዉ ትዉልድ in your assessment to have been considered the most winner?

Yep Eden. woyane won by securing half of the enclave it had governed prior to the war, returning the land to stone-age, paying with millions of Tigrians lives and limbs...

If simply going back to square one with much reduced land, population, economy, degraded military capacity is a military victory to you, then who am I to burst your bubble?!

What was the purpose of all that death and destruction you instigated about........?
What a retard!

So, give credit for Ethio360 for calling this ahead of time.

What a catastrophic outcome for Ethiopia,

The Weyannies divided, looted and landlocked Ethiopia for 27 years. And then waged a devastating war that not only destabilize the country but so many has been displaced and died of the stupid war. When all the world expected a total annihilation of the terrorists group, they have a peace deal with billions of dollars reconstruction money.

Abiye Ahmed is the worst leader in the history of the world . Let there be no doubt, the TPLF will be back.

yes, there will be many more face-saving exercises to come in the coming days, weeks, months and perhaps also years.

For the record, I listened somewhere on my own PM Abiy remarking "it is better to keep negotiating for years than waging war for just 2 weeks" or something very similar in content. That was just before the start of the current round of devastating war in last August. Back then you were blinded to the plight of the people you now start shedding your crocodile tears, you are not born to lose in grace.

There is something to the optics, they say, because optics does give a clue to what is in the objects behind it.

Ambassador Redwan Hussien is so full of happy face, while his counterpart in the picture, Mr. Getachew Reda, is full of a mournful face. Did I fabricate something about this assessment here?

Getch is no more ready to go to Hell and come back to dismantle Ethiopia, that is why he is so mournful, I assume.

There is no revenge feeling on the Eritrean side. Is defending yourself a form of revenge ? Is taking back the lands that belong to you a form of revenge ? Don't be simplistic in your thinking. For almost 20 years we waited for them to do the right thing but they refused and here you come to talk about emotions.
