The so called peace talk may end like this

Few days ago Obasanjo told the UNSC that the talks in South Africa will be preliminary aka fake talks. They are not supposed to discuss main issues but will focus on preparation for the real discussion etc.
In the mean time unconfirmed reports say both the top TPLF leaders such as Debretsion and the so called negotiation team have left Mekele. If this is true then while the negotiation team will participate in the preliminary talks, the unnamed top TPLF officials like Debretsion may be heading to Canada seeking asylum.
While the fake preliminary talks are still going on, ENDF will most likely capture Mekele in the coming days and few days later we will hear that talks have collapsed as both parties could not agree on key issues. This is when the so called negotiation team which includes Getachew and Tsadkan will be following Debretsion & co. to Canada.
And there you have it. The so called peace talk may have only one aim, i.e. to facilitate a save exit for all top TPLF officials and nothing else.
Whether top officials like Debretsion are out of the country or not, we should expect that the so called negotiation may not last more than few days.

Without some leverage, any form of negotiation is meaningless......Given the reality on the ground, whether the Adwa gang will sit at the negotiation table or not is irrelevant. My concern has been about the 'owners' of our region's mercenaries........and how much the Ethiopian government will resist the pressure that will come from these powers......Let's not lose sight that these powers have much more stake than the Adwa 'elites'.......
Here is a statement by the US ambassador to the UN a few days ago:
''I can tell you that the United States is fully and actively engaged in diplomatic efforts at the highest levels of our government to support the African Union. The United States remains prepared to take appropriate measures against those who obstruct a resolution of this conflict, and we are determined to have those who commit human rights abuses held to account.''

I have heard this guy has some connection to high government officials. I don't know whether that is true but his guess/assessment is very close to my guess.

Typical sign of mental disorder, what you need is a psychiatrist to help you cope with reality otherwise you will degenerate towards a dysfunctional state.

When the situation in N. Ethiopia stabilizes & if the terrorists get a safe haven somewhere, still the Ethio. Gov't should persue them through the ICC & Interpol etc.
