Should Ethiopian forces wait from capturing Mekele until the junta leaders return from S. Africa IF they return?
The so called face saving “peace negotiation” is nothing more than a poly by the CIA to skip the war criminals of the Weyane from Chigray. We all know the Weyanes are in no position to demand ANYTHING from the negotiation except to accept a total disarmament and disappear from this planet of earth. The Chigians in diaspora have been given up on “armed struggle” going forward after realizing there won’t be any corridor to bring in supplies, such as Humera to continue their fight. They know now their beloved TPLF is as dead as Tamil Tigers of Sirilanka. However, it would be also interesting to see those juntas leaders in S. Africa would return to Chigray and “fight and die” with their people as they promise they would. Thus, let’s not close their door to return, not allowing them to get an excuse for o say, they couldn’t return to Mekele because, the city is under their enemies hand.

Don't be naive. The 9 members of the team have left for SA never to return back to Tigray. Why would they return when Mekele is encircled? I believe this has been arraged between TPLF leaders and US special envoys weeks ago. The pressure Abiy was getting not to enter Mekele immediately explains this. In all honesty and for all I care, if this means the people in the region get peace at last let the TPLF lraders disappear from the region.
