He is trying to say that Eritrea is against the talks to be held in South Africa.

Well, you never know this days but I use to think he was financed by TPLF since he was doing their business for quite long time now.

Well, you never know this days but I use to think he was financed by TPLF since he was doing their business for quite long time now.

His reasoning is like this :

1_ Eritrea is opposed to the talks in South Africa. That means the continuation of the war and the capture of Mekele and possibly the entire leadership of the TPLF.

2_ Therefore to escape getting captured some of the TPLF leadership accepting the the guarantees offered by the US decided to get out of Tigray before it is too late to do so.

3_The Tigrayans can no longer rely on US financial pressure on Ethiopia to stop the war because there is a limit to the pressure. At a certain moment Ethiopia could boldy state that it is not going to accept the terms of the US despite financial blackmailing.

Therefore hard times ahead for the TPLF.

To me Sajeed sounds more cogent than ever.

Well, we will see what tomorrow will bring. But, all this talk about negotiation, if it is not a cover to let them go and never let them return back ever. Then, that will be a serious problem.
