According to the outlook of the guest, town after town is evacuated to keep TDF manpower and weaponry intact with the aim of maintaining its chips at the negotiations table. The guest reiterated controlling towns doesn’t give an entity a negotiating power unless it’s accompanied by destruction of manpower and weaponry.
The guest also shared his suspicion that the leaders may agree less than ideal outcome as their immediate goal is keeping their own seat, not serving the underlying/ stated cause.

Getachew Reda sent the TDF army that was fighting in North Wollo to save Shire but they too lost ammunition and couldn't defend Tigray from Coalition forces

The emotional Ethiopian analyst doesn't know that TPLF does not want to give up a inch of Tigray territory willfully rather it was overwhelmed by ongoing conflict on all sides also any time the ENDF is about to march into a a city there is a day or two of drones that target tanks and visible artillery. The guy said that TPLF tanks weren't being hit. The analyst has been watching to much TMH and Dimtsi Woyane Propaganda Videos

The analyst makes his own assumption. It could be just one scenario but there are more plausible and convincing scenarios. The most important thing is, is fleeing and deserting key big cities a prime indicator of defeat and loss? Why would one flee away as the cost of recovering and recapturing these cities is exponentially high - given TPLF is drained out in terms of its military assets including army? What about the unforeseen reaction from the Tigray ordinary people and alternative strategies unfolding from Ethiopian forces - especially now ordinary Tigres see how kind and civil Amhara Fanos are - contradictory to TPLF's depiction. It is natural upon loss for anyone to show to much hiccups and will do this or that tomorrow. Sure, some remnants will try out but the outcome remains the same. People do not want to live and feed rebels - they will switch sides. The question is not about TPLF, how OLF-PP will behave determines the future. If OLF-PP remains to act like a replacement of TPLF and continues to mistreat Amhara and Tigre, that will be a different ball game. I am afraid OLF-PP are driven by instinct and herd mentality which will soon cost them too. It is not the question of who is armed or not but who follows acceptable conventional political governance leadership. If ኬኛ keeps sh!ting in Ethiopia it would be taken care off sooner than one could imagines.
