I don’t get it, what is there to negotiate about?

Who in the right mind would sit with a dead terrorist ground? We know Abiy isn’t foolish, he is probably attempting to tame the pressure he is getting from the Weyane’s masters but why give the terrorist leaders an escape route to a foreign land? If I were Abiy, I would still buy time until all the terrorist leaders are wither arrested or killed in the next week or two until there is no one of them left to negotiate with.

Abiy also need to insist on the number of “negotiators”, (limited to a max of two junta leaders). The government demand also should be the total disarmament of the TPLF and have then sign never to claim Welqait and Raya ever again.

Let TPLF flee if that means an end to this conflict bro. Maybe the Tigrayans will realize then, and only then, that their so called leaders were leading them astray.
In regards to Welkait, it is a matter of both countries national security interests, (Ethiopia and Eritrea), that they don't have access to Sudan (from where the enemies of both countries can attempt to arm them to wreak havoc in the horn of Africa).

The neocons are scurrying to save their slaves at the last hour. We are made a beggar nation by TPLF's design and, the successors seem to be continuing that culture at least in the short run as. When you are a beggar, you are at the mercy of the almsgiver, sadly. Hopefully, the operation on the ground will finish off the monsters in the coming few days and turn the game of the negotiation in to nothing more than staged theatrics.

If you look at the history of terrorist tplf, they never settled any of their disputes with negotiations. Tplf uses negotiations to buy time and stab you in the back. Terrorist TPLF hopes its western handlers will get involved and help them avoid defeat. They will not accept defeat and surrender. Leaving tplf alive is a loss for Ethiopia because tplf will not rest until Ethiopia and the whole region is in flames.

Uhuru Kenyatta was handpicked by his Neo-colonial masters to be part of the so-called "peace talks" in South Africa in exchange for the ICC to drop crimes against humanity charges against him. His last minute decision to skip the scheduled "peace talks" was by design to sabotage the AU-led peace talks in order to push preconditions that favor his Neo-colonial masters.

In his letter to the AU, stating his inability to attend the Peace Talks due to "conflicting schedules", he asked the talks be moved to a latter date and demanded "further clarity on the structure and modalities of the talks, including but not limited to the rules of engagement for all the interlocutors invited." What part of "without preconditions" does he not understand? :P

Yeah it was weird how he was told about the peace talks way in advance but he only mentioned he couldn't attend a day or so prior to the schedule.
