Isaias's attempt to reunite Eritrea and Ethiopia into a single nation was unsuccessful. After viewing the movie, I came to this understanding as a result of my experience. They are attempting to convince you that Amharas have always been and will always be Eritrea's enemies. By the way, no Eritrean film is ever distributed to the public without undergoing rigorous censorship.
