Let Ethiopian forces free Mekele from terrorist tplf and then allow tigreas referendum… the outcome will be tigreas will vote to remain Ethiopian 97% to 3% guaranteed

That is the same thing Amhara said that Eritreans wouldn’t want to secede form Ethiopia and we allknow what happend

Allowing referendum to illiterate third world county population is just like letting a child play with a bomb. The child does not know good and bad and an illiterate population can not make wise and educated rational decision. To me, referendum is NOT APPLICABALE in the context of African countries populated with nomads(pastoralists) and illiterate farmers. It only results better outcome in an educated and developed society. Conflict entrepreneurs just hijack the word "referendum" to get legitimacy from powerful governments of the developed world. If Tigres are allowed to do so, they will commit suicide and locked themselves out of Ethiopia. Would not that be a crime to just let them do poor choice. This is what I will officially call genocide. We know a few years back 99.9% of the vote went to TPLF
