Slavery comes in all forms and style; some wear the blond wig as badge of honer, others, like you Tegaru, display donated wheat as their badge honers. Nonetheless, I am sure those black judges at least they ain’t waiting for handouts to fill in their bellies

May be even the Brits themselves might have copied both their legal system which they have modified and applied as well as the uniform head wear meant for the judges from the ancient Babylonians.
The Code of Hammurabi is a Babylonian legal text composed c. 1755–1750 BC. It is the longest, best-organized, and best-preserved legal text from the ancient Near East. It is written in the Old Babylonian dialect of Akkadian, purportedly by Hammurabi, sixth king of the First Dynasty of Babylon.
Now if you see carefully King Hammurabi's head wear you will notice that it is nicely decorated but not over decorated and covers the back area of the neck and both sides of his cheeks. Perfect fit and perfect match.

I wouldn’t embellish a colonial legacy, nor do I become jealous of it.
If the so-called Commonwealth countries & French colonies want to retain the legacy of their masters, so be it. But there is no evidence the ferenjis adopted their ugly horse wig from the natural hair of the righteous Hammurabi. They started to wear wigs in the 17th century to cover their lice infested & cancerous hair loss. A case in point: 17th century Europe was associated with civil unrest, war, bloodshed & disease.
