Ridiculous! Addis Ababa city administration spends 1 Billion Birr on rent every year

This is ridiculous! The administration should build its own offices asap and stop such waste of money. After all it is the authority that manages land in the city so acquiring land should not be a problem. This kind of waste of public money should be investigated as it could be the case that city officials may be getting bribes from property owners to renew rent contracts.
