Every Ethiopian will be happy if what he awarded for has any meaning in their life, but to make a big deal about meaningless award while the country’s economy is in shambles is to say the least is dishonest.

Let me say this:

in the last few days the memory of the slaughtered and despeised Ethiopian Monarchy come to my fresh mind, after watching the global fanfare that is being live staged in front of our own very eyes, globally.

I said how bad is the history and legacy of the Ethiopian Monarchy in comparison to that of the British Empire, which is now celebrated and observed next to God, inlcuding by those who were under the british colonial rule, just before some decades ago, to have been so looked down and disparaged while the latter is so gloabally celebrated?

Someone can give me an hint here, I really tried to get an answer to the question to no avail.

Not only did the Ethiopians despise and slaughter the members of its own Monarchy but also started to despise and hate to the bone, when the current PM of the country tried to revive at least some of their legacies, as part of our own history, like renovating their palaces. We despised our own history with that, while others are celebrating it in front of our eyes and on the world stage.

There is a big gap here, for which we can hardly find any explanation, if any.

There could be many unexplained questions about Ethiopians, if we try to look at it more closely.

Now Muslim Oromos are singled out? Are you saying that just because the prize is associated with Islamic Finance & Banking? What happened to the Wollega Protestant Oromos, who are the front driver of OLF and accused of influencing Pente Abiy?

The answer is simple, because the man with the b@ll is disoriented, he sees himself a she. He is no more he, but she. Thus, all these African countries were disoriented by their colonizers and still they are ruled by the British Monarchy - they got beautiful name called British Common Wealth. These African countries are neither sovereign nor independent in this 21st century. You remind me of homeless youth in Addis Ababa streets mourning the death of Meles Zenawi, a notorious ethnic minority dictator. While his daughter was spoiled in the shiny cities of the West and enjoy life while back home at Sheraton Addis, these street homeless youth were sleeping in the cold, their bellies nagging for food. Likewise, these African colony countries are disoriented and lost their pride and identity. Look all their cities, they are like debris of latrine houses while their resorces were building cities in Europe. This situation is now emerging in Ethiopia, especially Islamic Orommuma are venerating Arab countries and Wahabis infiltrating dominated by Jimma Orommumas.

Everything you scribble on this site doesn't make any sense already since long time ago. You are only consumed by a sheer volume of collective hate against some sector of the country's population you would like to call home. Nothing is more a disorientation than this condition.

Not saying Muslim Oromos are singled out, rather the age old Islam religion of the county is under attack from the alien Wahhabi which is spearheaded by the Jimma fanatic Orommuma, just like the prosperity gospel cult from Wollega are trying to undermine the age old Orthodox Christianity of the country. The former is financed and encouraged by Arabs and the later by Western Protestants. Many are now associating Prosperity party with prosperity gospel because important figures are Pente. Don't be surprised for some of the PP members to have multiple personality. This is not about individual person it is rather what they are there representing.

I have a hard time understanding your preoccupation with how "he secured " instead of why he secured the so-called "prestigious" prize. If you explain what Ethiopians have benefited from what he has been awarded for in layman's terms that would suffice. This is not the first time the so-called "prestigious " award had been given to an Ethiopian Prime Minister. Here is another "prestigious" award given to none other than Meles Zenawi for the "First Africa Green Revolution " right after he sniffed off nascent democracy in Ethiopia by massacring and imprisoning more than 40,000 Ethiopians.

If Abiy deserves an award from anywhere it should be because of what we Ethiopians have benefited from it though coincidentally others could become secondary beneficiaries.
