AU can redeem its failure and sullied reputation in the war on Tigray by appointing an envoy for Ethiopia while Mr Obasanjo remains envoy for the Horn.

It is dishonest to make such statements. You either accept the peace offer or reject it and face sure defeat as an outlaw trouble making organization.

It is also amazing for an organization declared as an outlaw provincial rebel to demand the resignation of another country's head of state and or head of organization.

If it is a matter of peace the Government and the people of Ethiopia have been consistently and patiently offering peace and cooperation for two long years which the tplf consistently rejected and finally went to war for the purpose of overdrawing the democratically elected federal government.

Even this time around tplf's peace talks seems to be amounting to public misinformation as an attempt to gain publicity and attentions for its agenda which has nothing to do with genuine peace seeking and or peaceful settlements of conflicts.

Tplf may accept peace deals only if it Suffers Significant Military Defeats on the ground and loose citizens' support. Else, the same Cat and Mouse game talk show businesses will keep going on endlessly as the suffering of citizens may also keep going on, sadly.

When TPLF was told peace and negotiations were the only way out of this crisis its false sense of power took the better of it and put unacceptable and too many preconditions to sit on the negotiation table. Its former ambassador (Feseha and Berhane) advised the junta to attack both Eritrea and Ethiopia for a third time. In fact the 85 year old ambassador wanted TPLF to break the backbone of the Eritrean army as if that was possible. And now like a useless beggar that he is he wants to negotiate without any precondition even to the extent that TPLF disarms. I think Abiy has learned his lessons now and is silently finishing the TPLF off once and for all. Peace in the horn can only be guaranteed when the TPLF is wiped out.

Sarc,
It is over. Do not prolong the suffering of your people. Drop your weapons and surrender. That is the right thing to do.

Listen, you are sieged. Encircled and you have no one, not even a single ally and sympathizer, that will wellcome you or help you even if you break the siege.

I don’t think you are that stupid not to see this.
