Asmara, 08 September 2022- President Isaias Afwerki today, 08 September, sent a message of congratulations to H.E. Mr. William Ruto.
In his message, President Isaias on behalf of the Government and people of Eritrea wished Mr. William Ruto warm and sincere congratulations on the occasion of his election as the President of the Republic of Kenya.
President Isaias expressed trust, that his election will advance the tasks of economic development and progress of the Republic of Kenya and his belief that will enhance the bilateral ties that exist between Eritrea and Kenya.
President Isaias also wished good health to Mr. William Ruto and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of the Republic of Kenya.

Kenya will continue to pursue peace in the region to advance economic development. With Eritrean ambassador to Kenya Beyene Russom, who conveyed a message of goodwill from President Isaias Afwerki.
