Those who want to end the war!
- The Ethiopian people including Tigray, Afar, Amhara, Oromia etc. The Ethiopian people want this war to end immediately for Ethiopia once again to be stable and moves toward economic development .
- TPLF - Got the costly lesson that their is no quick win and it can't go back to Addis. Ignoring and underestimating Isaias under the no war and no peace condition has almost costed it's life but destroyed Tigray
- The international community - Got the lesson Ethiopia is resilient and the only way out is to put pressure on the warring parties to come to the negotiation table with out siding and advancing Egypt's interests.
Those who want to continue the war
- Abiy to save himself from facing justice from the crime he committed against the Ethiopian people for being used by Isaias to destroy Ethiopia . He also knows the genocide and war crime he committed on Tigray shall hunt him .
- Egypt until Ethiopia signs a zero sum water share agreement and Ethiopia is disintegrated.
- Sudan until Ethiopia is weak and surrenders to Egypt's conditions
- Isaias until TPLF is eliminated from the face of the earth and Ethiopia signs a zero sum water share agreement with Egypt and is disintegrated.
- Amhara exterimists until they get victory and upper hand against Tigray and Oromia and a unitary Ethiopia is established under their terms and conditions.
The Future:
Those who want the war to contuinue are going to be increasingly frustrated as the peace negotiation advances and they will do what they can to sabotage the peace process. Abiy has no other option than peaceful conclusion of his differences with TPLF, even that costs his carrier and also facing justice for the crimes he committed against Ethiopia, particularly Tigray . Isaias and Amhara exterimists will try to fight TPLF but their fate will be a total defeat. However, the Amhara state may be unstable for 2 to 3 years.
