Thanks to our gallant Yikealo and Mendelay’s sacrifice, people like me are enjoying the fruits of their sacrifice by going to homeland and walk the streets of our country’s towns and villages without being asked what “ethnic” we belong and killed on the spot for being in the wrong ethnic. I couldn’t be more proud to be Eritrean than anytime before.

Welcome back brother euroland. We had the same opportunity last summer and we stayed in Eri-shikor for 2 months. I enjoyed every bit of it and my kids loved it even more... Now, we are making a plan to go back home probably next summer or the summer after utmost...I have two of my friends with their families who now are back home for ten weeks summer vacation and I call them every other week. They told me they are enjoying a very rainy summer... One of them is coming back this Saturday...

One thing that I observed during our visit back home was that our people did really pay attention as to what has been going on in that tiny Tigray. One thing I noticed is that the cloud of war was gone from Eri-skies and our people are minding their business peacefully.

Anyway, welcome back brother..

Thank you brother Hawzen
Hope you had a great summer wherever you stayed at.

I spent quality time as much in Asmara as in other beautiful cities such as Keren and Massawa with my kids as well:).
As you probably heard this year’s rainy season has broken every record of the country has had. My parents were telling me, the lat time they remembered this much rain was when they were little kids. In Keren, there was time it rains straight 5 days without a break that prevented us from going back to Asmara. It was a good problem to have. YAs people were saying, god has returned to Eritrea. Meantime, our hassad neighbors in the South has been going through hell as they deserve it.
