Tigrayans have to struggle for their rights with out throwing the baby with the bath water!

The current Ethiopia is largely the product of the vision & sacrifice of our fathers and we have invested in it from generations to generations. Our failure so far has been our inability to reinstate Tigray as the center of gravity of Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa. Emperor Yohannes tried to make Tigray the center but finally he was not able to counter balance the combined weight and sabotage of Amharas from Gojam and Shoua. Imagine if King of Gojam and Shoua participated in the Metema war against he Mahdists , the war could had been easily won by Ethiopia with out the exposure of the King of Kings Emperor Yohannes to the enemy bullet ( the enemy may had been either King Minilik, King Teklehaimnot or the Mahdists). Emperor Yohaness gave too much power to the Kings under him and they used that power he gave them to sabotage him. 32 years ago TPLF decided to consolidate and build Ethiopia from Minilik's palace Arat Killo, with out proper strategic analysis of the risks that emerge down the line and we have seen how the short lived tactical alliance Oromara, sabotaged it with the empowerment TPLF gave to it's "sister" parties from Amhara & Oromia( Similar to what Emperor Yohannes faced about 100 years ago). The way forward should be shifting the center of Ethiopia from Addis Ababa to the historical city of Axum over the next 20 to 30 years( what it means is bringing back Ethiopia to it's rightful place). What Tigray faced over the last 4 years may not have happened if TPLF followed this strategy over the last three decades but still it is never late. For those who want an independent Tigray ( 100% de-linked from Ethiopia), they should know that Tigray is the spirit and soul of Ethiopia and every Ethiopian is going to be against it. Tigray is also strong as part of Ethiopia ( from the synergy) and their is no guarantee how the stubborn and egoistic Tigrayan spirit shall stay united with an independent Tigray , effectively managing the desire to split along awrajas similar to what is happening in Eriteria today( Hamassien, Seraye, and Akele Guzai).
