The reason they preferred to be called Eritreans is to show their loyalty for the Bologna native Eritreans and dreaming they will come back and feed them the way they did before but no one showed up and their maid fled all over like Ambeta.

All around the world oppositions for independent from countries are citing Bandaland independent due to the Bologna maids failure to make their country proud, rather they became the refugee of the world and defecting like flies all over the world and disgracing other countries independent seekers. Bologna maids thought that to be independent is to be served free food from Egypt, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states and most importantly the white man of Eritreans will come back and feed them. After independent, everything was dried up even the Arabs used to send them ration food during the struggle stopped and that is where the problem emerged. Now the world told them to be independent is to live by your own sweat not others and go back and dig the soil and plant something to support you but the land is dry like their mouth and nothing to produce nor they like to work but seek where the readymade is around the world including Tigray and Ethiopia.
