At around the same time when the war broke out last February 1 € war around 58 EB, today the same amount is just around 52 EB. (Ethiopian Birr gaining value against Euro)
Euro is also currently on a parity with the $ itself, at one time last week it even got less in value to $, the first such a course in over 20 years (according to BBC).
I just remembered a quote from an European politician who reportedly said "it is insanity to impose a sanction on somebody else which is going to harm us more than the sanctioned body" (this is the exact words, that I remember).
It is simply amazing, what we see in front of us.
