The destruction of Shewa into fragmented pieces tossed every direction to none exsiting regions was a deliberate work to accomplish TPLF and OLF mission. Shewa is one of the largest region with its own distinct identity shared by every Shewa people. The scattering of Shewan identity, which is still intact, is a time bomb that will destroy the TPLF/OLF Killil.

They wanted to destroy Shewa for liberation against colonization. Olf, Shabia and Tplf conspired against shewans, by breaking 3 greatest alliance, the Spiritual Amara, the warrior Oromo and the glue Gurage along many other Ethiopians alliance and unity defeated colonization. Today, Oromo became banda. Gurage was pushed out of its own land Shewa and was pushed to guaro ,South. Amara cornered to [deleted] side.

In my humble opinion, Gurages will remain intact whether under the status quo administrative system or as an independent ‘killil’ because of their unique, strong & seamless socioeconomic background. In fact, I am more worried about the Amharas in Shoa. ‘Outsiders’ could take advantage of their detached geographic location in relation to other Amhara regions, open & individualist culture and weak socioeconomic status & gradually swallow them even though they are part of Amhara Killil.

I think more than anybody else the people of the ancient land of Shewa has to raise up and protect their Shewan identity. This inappropriate clustering is very detrimental their age old identity, history and civilization of Shewan. Shewa people should establish የሸዋ አስመላሽ taskforce and front. I heard couple of movements and certainly these will turn into large scale movement that will shape the future of Shewa and greater Ethiopia.

Someone must be foolish to take your advice seriously. You are an inside out anti-Amhara woman. What you actually said was Guraghes would be fine which ever bag Abiy Ahmed puts them (defending for Abiy Ahmed), but you worried about Amhara Why? Is that because you truly believe Abiy Ahmed is going after cleansing Amhara? Why did not you concern about Kembata, Hadiya, Alaba, Shewa Oromo( who just lumped with Bale or Harrar out of their true cultural and historical identity), and other Shewan?
Actually, this thread is about reclaiming the stolen Shewa identity, it is not about a particular tribe. Shewa is a very defined identity than any of the ክልል with a strong economic basis , optimum population size , common psychology and should not be tossed away to random killilization. Look, Tigray is one of the smaller ክልል consisted of Erob, Kunama, Tigre, Tigrawai, Afar, Agew and at the same time is the least fortunate to be a economically sustainable ክልል. Why is Shewa denied the opportunity the none viable Tigray is given? That is my question. And already there are here and there Shewan movement to bring back the glory of Shewa. Your crocodile tear about Amhara is just like Abiy Ahmed's shameful statement of planting trees on the grave yards of the Amhara victims so that they could rest under the tree shed

አያ በሬው - I can’t help you on your horrible comprehension. Opinion is one thing, advice another. Again, I am expressing my opinion as to what’s going to happen, not about what I would like to happen. So as it stands, Shoan Amharas will mostly likely be affected by the current cultural, political, & sociology-economical invasion more rapidly than Gurages. You could make a comparison with the other ethnic groups if you have the background information. I don’t.
