China & Eritrea relations deteriorated?

Recently Ethiopia hosted China sponsored conference regarding peace as major issue. TPLF's malelit's are drumming Eritrea's absence as disagreement with China which is far from the truth. As TPLF militias’ heart breaker let me explain it to the politics novices what is at the hand.
The Chinees envoy has clearly answered that 'Eritrea did not participate due to what they said was technical issues'. 'Technical issues' is the answer all you need. 'Technical issues' is diplomatic euphemism for 'we do not agree with the agenda'.
Eritrea currently has only one conflict in the horn of Africa, that is with the TPLF. Thus, participating in the conference is tantamount to endorsing the peace negotiation with the TPLF, which is non-starter for Eritrea. This has nothing to do with Eritrea-China relations. China navigating with strategic interests and tactical differences with its allies is nothing new to its foreign policy.
Now let’s see what the meaning of 'technical issues is:
1. Hallucinating TPLF set precondition for the negotiation demanding pre-November Tigray border which includes Badme and other Eritrean lands. Thus, Eritrea's absence!
2. Peace with the TPLF is impossible not only because of its past hostile and violent history with Eritrea, but also due its credibility. TPLF did not abide by the international border commission ruling for decades and attempted to disrupt the peace agreement between the Federal government of Ethiopia and Eritrea declaring 'Irob is bigger than Eritrea'. TPLF's credibility respecting peace accords is dismal. Thus, Eritrea's absence!
3. The spineless Ethiopian prime minister wanted to use this conference to portray himself as peace lover when the reality on the ground do not support neither the TPLF nor the Ethiopian government are willingly heading to negotiations. Aid dependent Ethiopian government succumbed to the pressure from the west and the TPLF took a shellacking in its futile military adventure to Amhara and Afar regions and was overstretched to the limit. Thus, the so-called peace negotiation is enforced rather than based on realities on the ground. In effect the conflict is being postponed and as marriage of convenience it will surely explode when one side think it is the right moment. Thus, Eritrea's absence.
In short that is what ‘technical issues’ means in diplomacy.
Who in the right mind would think that Eritrea would participate in a conference about peace with hallucinating Terrorist gangs who are still demanding Eritrean lands?
