If there is anyone out there believing the news that there will be negotiation between Mamo Killo and TPLF in Tanzania at the end of this month. then I tell you you are misled.

The negotiation was completed long time ago when woyane retreated back from Debrebirhan. What has been difficult till now is implementing all the agreed points on the ground. If there is any meeting between the leaders of the two warring parties in the future, then it is about signing the agreement and making it formal and official so that TPLF would be recognized as a just and sovereign entity. The satan Mamo Killo is too stupid and too foolish to recognize it. He will just continue supplying whatever TPLF needs and wants. In the last several months alone he supplied them 2.1 billion worth of Birr notes, for instance. And he will continue doing it.

All we here about Tigray being strangle is a lie. You can see how they celebrate thier birthday in Mekele these days.

Both Mamo Killo and TPLF are fooling you.

If you have to believe one of these two parties, then bet your money on woyane, Abiy is worthless.

Abiye is a dead man walking. He killed Seyoum & Abay and now he wants to make peace with the TPLF.
Kidnapping, arresting and killing the Amaharas, while he is making a peace deal with the TPLF. The trap door will close before the deal materialize.
Remember the TPLF is not surrendering but negotiating a deal. Means, at least they will maintain the status quo while getting budgetary assistance.

What a turn of event. Embarrassing.

I think there is a need for a little correction. The above sentence implies that the Ethiopian government sent money to the Tigrayan government. The the fact is that the Ethiopian government has never sent money to the Tigayan government. What really happened is that the Ethiopian government allowed aid agencies to take limited aid agency cash to Tigray so that they could pay their employees who are managing the distribution of aid and pay the track drivers and other contractors who work for them.

Abiy's spokeswoman Bileny Seyoum said the government had sent 2.1 billion Birr notes up until June 2nd, 2022. She never said what you said, through aid agencies.

Was she lying?

She said humanitarian assistance cash. She listed food, non-food, medicine etc entered Tigray between July 2021 and June 2022. Non of the items listed come from Ethiopian government coffers. It was just allowed to be transited across areas controlled by Ethiopian government into Tigray. The people who are paying for the food, medicine and cash are Western / UN aid agencies.

I think next decade after the conflict is history, Ethiopians will feel ashamed that in a community of 120 million people, there was no meaningful Ethiopian community based funds raising activity to help Tigrayans affected by the man-made famine caused by Abiy's siege; when it is obvious that there are millions and millions of Ethiopians who do not agree with the war on Tigray.
