The wahabi Kenya face oromos are lost, they are looking to claim for some identity associated with Habesha. And they think they found Habesha agew. But Habesha agew and Amara are the same exact people with same culture, music, history, blood, geography, etc. Like you said, they are shopping for identity and history from the same Habesha and Amara they hate to their bones.

The wahabi olf would do anything under the sun to creat Islamic oromia. Well, they will have to defeat all Ethiopians, not just the mighty Amara.
