I understand your frustrations. Hold on your rants. Direct it to EPDRF #2. Ethiopian intellectuals are not God or a saviours of anything. Just do your part and stop blaming others as that is a lazy approach to solve problems. Dr. Dereje is as brilliant and articulate you can get in today’s Ethiopia. In the early days of the 7th king, he is the very few citizens who correctly read the tendency of Abiye and warned us all.

The Dr is telling us to give Abiy a chance to rectify the problems the country is facing.he is denying the fact Abiy has deliberately squandered the opportunities of a better future for the country.
No one objected Abiy when he came to power with his rosy words but his deeds are there for all to judge without a doctor’s lecture.

You didn’t listen to him carefully. Not only to this clip please also listen to his other interviews. I don’t think you know or understand this man. When he said he is honest, it a sarcasm laced comment. Abiye would say he loves Ethiopia but then he says he will never negotiate on the Weyannie constitution. Abiye keeps saying the Weyannies are day time Hyenas but then he will turn around and praise them.
If you ask me Dr Dereje is unique in telling the truth openly. The problem is he just can’t stomach the primitive and dangerous Ethiopian politics.
My favourite interview is the one he did with Seyoum Teshome about Weyannies May celebration.
