It's good you didn't waste your time. It was a joke.

I know it is a joke, but it was laced with politics. For example, the old Tigrean lady has lived in Addis Abeba, not ፊንፊኔ።

You're splitting hairs. Looks like you are getting a little sensitive nowadays. If you are getting annoyed by a little four letter word, how are going to live in the New Ethiopia which is happy to embrace the past holistic philosophy to create its path to the future. I was watching a video where TDF tegadelti were praying before a meal where an older tegadalay was standing in the front and was saying ንበል ኣቡነ ዘበሰማያት . . .

I am glad you brought up Shimelis Abdisa’s tweet. He made a fundamental error. “ The future of Ethiopia : back to our origin Gad system,” he wrote. He is saying the Oromos Gad system represents the whole Ethiopia. I disagree.
About the splitting “hair” how comes an Adwa born, Eritrean citizenship claimer, Eden , uses ፊንፊኔ rather than Addis Abeba is an interesting observation. Yours truly observed you read ፊንፊኔ ታይምስ say more any other paper in Ethiopia.
I thought maybe you are confused and you see ፊንፊኔ everywhere. I am just trying to be helpful.

I guess he is preparing the groundwork for post-Tigray Ethiopia. The narrations that Ethiopia is one of the first nations to accept Christianity and First Hijra, the land that has its own fidel and Yared's Zema etc etc will be gone with Tigray. In regards to the Gada system not representing 'the whole Ethiopia', no narration or system represents the whole Ethiopia anyway.

Are you suggesting when TPLF was gone so do the fact that Ethiopia was one of the First Nation to accept Christianity and First Hijra. Are you suggesting the fact that Ethiopia was having its own ፊደል and Yared Zema’s changes to be untrue because TPLF is not there to validate its truthfulness.
You are mixed up my dear. Facts do not need the guardian of rulers, political parties, or monarchs. They just exist on their own because they are facts.

TPLF does not own any of the stuff listed in my above post. The Tigray people do. Ethiopia has brought Shaebia and Arabs to commit genocide on Tigray people. This makes it impossible for Tigrayans to continue being part of country that tried to exterminated them, in the long term. They owe to the future Tigrayan generations to create a nation state that would make a repeat of what's happening now impossible.

When the people of Tigray are no more part of the Ethiopian state, they will take Tigrayan history, social values, social artifacts, narrations etc etc with them . The new post-Tigray Ethiopia will need new narrations and philosophy to create its path. That is what President Shemels attempting to address when he said the future of Ethiopia will have solid roots on the past achievements of the philosophical system, I guess.

I have zero interest whether Tigreans want to be part of Ethiopia or not. In fact, if they could survive by themselves I want Tigray to secede. I have no this belief Ethiopia should not be geographically reduced nonsense. I want for my country peace. If the Tigray secession brings peace to Ethiopia, I am 100 percent ok with Tigray secession.
