Some kind of friction is going on between the two groups.
This is just the beginning. Gudina, Jawar, Abiye etc are all expected to serve the OLF cause under the direction of Ibsa. That is not happening and this will lead to a wider conflict. The TPLF is exploiting the situation by putting more gasoline on the fire.

Jawar is aligned with Abiy while TPLF is backing Dawud. Abiy may not be in the cartoon but he's definitely counting on Jawar to bring the bacon home.

Why do you care if they argue over the iconic flag because every one wants to have just small piece of it. There are already some three or four OLF organizations using the same flag. Jawar has flirted with TPLF before but now has chosen to align with Abiy and has been sent on a mission to bring to diaspora pork home. TPLF has Daud to do its bidding so we can say the two tribalists, Abiy and TPLF only fight on controlling power not bring change to the people.
