Epidemic of Kidnapping in Ethiopia: True Sing of Full Blown Down Fall of Regime.
Healthy society accommodates differences of opinion of individuals and groups; and in fact, encourages it. However, unhealthy social system labels, condemns and crucify them. Unhealthy society is controlled by random made-up dictatorial rules and individuals’ natural rights are trampled up, safety and security are out of question. Such actions bring undesirable consequences and are self-defeating. Where there is a tectonic simmering desire of social change, it is healthy to adapt to it so as to harness for the good of the greater society, instead of making futile attempts of putting a lid on it, for the force is overwhelming than the tiny lid mounted on it. What is now happening in Ethiopia, especially in Amhara and Addis Ababa, is an all-out Mafia or drug cartel effort by the so-called “government” of kidnapping of innocents, and most of whom are victim of illegal arrest largely upon the request of the personal order/ instruction/of the head of the country. This is pure nonsense and fruitless , it is not good for the country, not good either for the reputation and legitimacy of the leadership of the region and the country. If this foolhardy choice continues, let us all accept it, the bull’s eye of the hurricane is on its way and expect the land fall soon.
