Over 4500 arrested in the Amhara region

The Amhara regional government says “REAL FANO” would be working from within the government structure in the region

Well over 4500 people are arrested in different parts of the Amhara region of Ethiopia in what the government authorities call “law enforcement operation.”

It is the region’s Peace and Security Office head, Desalegne Tassew, who disclosed the arrest. The office has a press statement regarding the current situation in the region.

The office is vowing to carry on the duty to ensure “durable peace” in the region, from the report by Amhara Media Corporation (state media from the region).

According to the report, 40 of the suspects are convicted criminals, and 210 of them are suspects in homicide cases.

I don't think they arrested Fano, they just arrested ordinary unarmed people who are not supporters of Amhara PP or deputy of PP-OLF. It is practically impossible to arrest armed Fano. Agame Lady, you seem obsessed with pitting various ethnic groups against each other, lately it's been you trying to pit Oromo vs Amhara; are you trying to take the heat off your beloved golden race in Mekelle/Shire/Adwa/Axum and so on?
The Oromo have no desire to conquer anyone or rule over any lands, except for our own lands. Stop lying on our names and instead, speak for your own people, if you are indeed brave enough to admit what ethnicity you belong to.

Personally, I am glad that the Oromo didn't fight in your Tigray then, because it's NOT our war in the first place. If a man or woman does not believe in what they're fighting for, they won't use their full potential; this is common sense. Everyone values safety, which is why some fight, so that the collective can be safe, sound, and able to elect their own leaders. But, the war in Tigray is not ours as Oromo's in the first place, so do not expect us to care much about joining in, on either side.
