The World Telecommunication Conference moved from Addis to Kigali by 122 countries votes will be held in June

The International Telecommunication Union @ITU migrated the World Telecommunication Development Conference #WTDC-21 from #Addisababa #Ethiopia to #Rwanda #Kigali owing to security concerns. 122 of the 173 members states voted in favor of host country change.
Under the theme “Connecting the unconnected to achieve sustainable development”
WTDC is a unique opportunity to develop innovative approaches and new models of collaboration for connectivity and digital solutions in this final Decade of Action to achieve the SDGs .
WTDC will be held in Kigali, Rwanda, from 6 to 16 June 2022.
WTDC will feature the Partner2Connect Digital Development Roundtable from 7 to 9 June.
It will be preceded by the Generation Connect Global Youth Summit from 2 to 4 June.
