this is not the first time that USA SABOTAGED golden people...

back in day when Meles send his army to Somalia and win big .. the America become jealous of him golden PEOPLE ARMY win over Somalia while the USA army lost in Somalia so the American did not like it so they ask Meles to reduce his army from 30,000 strong to 3000 army .. this means Golden army start taking casualty so Meles returned his army from Somalia ..

image the whole world afraid to send their army at that time ... the Somalia control the red sea and demand money and they get paid the make every one pay but the Ethiopian army come and open the trade route without thanks back

even now the American doesn't want the Golden to win quick, but the American also believe in second chance they r testing the Golden..and we pass the test ... now the only thing that stop the golden marching to Addis is Abiy accepting the deal. had Abiy refused the deal then it would be green light for Golden to march for the second time... and it is smart to wait it out for the American green light .... because the same thing happened in 1991. the American told TPLF AND EPLF to wait for deal the Amhara fail to make the deal and the American said to meles go head take the capital.. had the Meles refused to wait the America would have not supported him... what i am saying is i know the American are sabotaging the success of golden but the golden have no choice to wait for the second opportunity that opportunity come from two paries.

one the Amhara (fano ) refusing to come out from Western Tigray and the Eritrean refusal to go back to their border this two opportunity will come just wait...

Secondly your English writing skill is excellent better than most people on this site.

You have made excellent point in your writing.The Tigray People don't have to listen to America but they understand diplomatic victory it's self is a big win.

On your other point the late Meles Zenawi reducing the army size in Somalia did not cost him on the battlefield because the Tigray People believe in quality over quantity.

Meles Zenawi was trying to creat strong bond with the American to grow Ethiopian economy in all countries around the world.

The Somalian were scared of to fight Tigray People but Meles cut the mission for political reasons and to get billions of dollars from western countries to help Ethiopia economy.
