In fact I was comparing Birr against Euro, I checked once again and it was not $. Thanks for correcting me.

On Dollar it has gained value but not around 2 Birr, it was on Euro.

Here the graph which shows 1€ = 57.16 ETB, on the 30th of March, 2022 and today 1 € = 55.20 ETB on the 17th of April, 2022.
