Why Isaias has been ignored by super powers?

Isaias has been trying all his best, over the last three decades, to get attention from the USA with the objective of making Eritrea as the anchor state of the USA. The response he got from the USA has been the opposite, sanction and isolation.Isaias main error was his decision to be a leader of Eritrea that is not attractive to be anchor state specially wining the competition from Ethiopia and Kenya and his ignorance how to play with the neo-colonial powers. He shall go to his grave regretting for his inability to win the heart of USA and for being defeated by the Tigray people.

Kichamo - If the West gives you attention that means you’re in trouble. They will either make you their errand-boy like Woyane thugs or milk you like the Arabs. Isaias did get sanctioned by the west
The west knows how to wage war its first tool of war is economics (sanctions) as they did to Assad for 13 years.
The west will no longer use its own military to overthrow dictators it prefers to use ragtag Brigade NiHamedu to do it . Problem is Brigade NiHamedu is to lazy to die and fight in Eritrea so the west has no proxies in Eritrea
I doubt the west will even allow or tolerate Ethiopian invasion into Eritrea

True. The West primary concern is to retain former colonies so British esp was happy for Eritrea to gain independence from Ethiopia and back to part of its colonies now called Commonwealth nations. That is why no animosity between U.S and Eritrea.
